As a process technician HF, your career prospects look promising. You can position yourself in the management (lower to middle management) of industrial or technology-related companies, logistics and service companies or trading companies of any size. There you can take on responsible specialist and management tasks in the areas of development, planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization of processes and procedures. The specific tasks depend on the logistics area in which you are working. In principle, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient processes within your area and will also make the necessary decisions, for example on optimization measures.
As a traditional export country, Switzerland is reliant on skilled workers with the relevant expertise to set up and manage global trade routes. Demand is correspondingly high and will probably continue to increase in the future.
Subsequent further training
The HF course for Process Technicians HF (formerly Technician HF Corporate Processes, specializing in Logistics) is at the higher vocational education level and offers good opportunities for further education. Graduating from a PET college (HF) opens the door to studying at a university of applied sciences (FH) and postgraduate courses at universities of applied sciences (NDS HF) and universities of applied sciences (CAS, DAS, MAS).
