The training in Medical Technology Quality Management is structured in two stages. Both courses can also be attended individually. The first level leads to a degree in "Management Systems in Medical Technology" and includes one-day seminars on the topics of quality management for medical devices in accordance with ISO 13485:2016, design control, supplier management, deviations and improvements, risk management for medical devices, qualification and validation as well as documentation and traceability. Level two comprises four seminars, each lasting two days, focusing on regulatory requirements, market surveillance of medical devices, best practice manufacturing and the basics of placing on the market. After each of the two levels, a practical assignment is completed and an examination is taken by those who have completed both levels.
