What qualifications do I need to become a Head of Communal Catering (AFPE)?

In order to be admitted to the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (AFPE) for Head of Communal Catering with a federal diploma, the following is required

  • Federal Diploma of Higher Education as head chef, gastronomy chef, chef in hospital, home and communal catering, restaurant manager, hotel housekeeping manager, chef de réception or equivalent qualification

And

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a management or leadership position in the catering industry

And

  • Module completions or certificates of equivalence
