Team leader courses are designed and structured very differently depending on the provider. For example, a comprehensive course consisting of various modules and up to 18 course days can be structured as follows: Starting with the "specialist supervisor" module and content such as employee management, work methodology as well as instruction methodology, the course participants are provided with the basis for their tasks and approach as a leader. Building on this, the prospective team leaders choose either the "Office" or "Technology" advanced module, depending on their area of work, and, if interested, complete their continuing education, further training with the "Production" module, which covers labor law, social partnership, occupational safety, ergonomics and health protection, or "Customer Service", which covers managing field staff, basic business management and customer-oriented behavior.
