What further training opportunities do I have as a chef with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education?
In principle, the following further training opportunities are generally open to you as a federal chef:
- Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE): qualified chef
- College of Higher Education: dipl. Hôtelière-Restauratrice CHE
Depending on the case, it may also be possible to study at a University of Applied Sciences (usually BMS and professional experience required, in some cases entry with Federal Diploma of Higher Education is also possible): Bachelor of Science (UAS) in Food Technology, Bachelor of Science (UAS) in International Hospitality Management.
Compared to courses at university level, continuing education, further training at PET level is very practice-oriented.
