A Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET Diploma) as a restaurant specialist is a good prerequisite for continuing education, further training as a restaurant manager with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training. However, a Federal VET Diploma as a catering assistant, service specialist or a comparable qualification is also possible as prior training.
