In the case of catch-up training, you can be admitted directly to the final examination (qualification procedure, formerly the final apprenticeship examination) in this way. Shortened basic training is also possible, which can be shortened by one year if you receive an apprenticeship contract. And, of course, adults also have the option of regular basic training as an apprenticeship in the catering or hotel industry.
