Nevertheless, a bartender or barman/barmaid is usually not responsible for staff, but works alone or in a team at a bar. The person responsible for personnel is usually the chef de bar / bar manager, who usually has several years of professional experience as well as business and organizational knowledge, which they acquire in a bar management course, for example.
