Der Einstieg in die Beratung erfolgt nicht über Nacht und sollte wirklich nicht überstürzt werden. Schliesslich möchten Sie zukünftig Menschen unterstützen, ihnen hilfreich zur Seite stehen und eine professionelle Beratung anbieten. Ohne eine fundierte Berater Ausbildung ist dies nicht zu empfehlen, da Ihnen ansonsten die grundlegenden Kenntnisse und Beraterkompetenzen fehlen, die es für diese feinfühlige Arbeit bedarf. Suchen Sie sich daher zuerst einmal die Anbieter heraus, welche Kurse in dem Beratungsbereich anbieten, der Sie interessiert und fodern Sie im Anschluss von diesen einige Schulungsunterlagen an. Lesen Sie sich die Angebote gut durch und schauen Sie, welche für Ihr Anliegen am geeignetsten sind. Da Sie bisher über keine Ausbildung als Psychologin, Beraterin, Ärztin, Coach, Therapeutin, Sozialpädagogin oder ähnliches verfügen, sollten Sie einen Lehrgang wählen, der Sie von Grund auf in die Beratung einführt und Ihnen dieses Themenfeld näher bringt. Einige Wochenendseminare werden daher ohne Vorbildung nicht ausreichen und sind eher als spezifische Weiterbildungen geeignet. Als komplette Neuausrichtung wird eine Berater Ausbildung sicherlich einige Jahre in Anspruch nehmen, die Sie jedoch berufsbegleitend zu Ihrer derzeitigen Berufstätigkeit durchführen können.

The training concept of the Counseling in the Psychosocial Field training course comprises an in-service training course in counseling. This takes three to four years and includes 600 lessons and self-study. Professional and personal counseling skills are trained through theory, self-awareness, supervision and practical counseling work. The transfer-oriented training courses are then carried out in learning groups. The qualifications required for the examination are generally acquired in the form of courses - in accordance with the examination regulations and guidelines of the SGfB.

Einige Bildungsangebote, die Sie hier finden, gelten als Vorbereitungskurse für eidgenössische Anschlüsse, etwa die Ausbildung zum/zur Ausbilder/in oder zum Psychologie Bachelor (FH oder Uni). Eine Berater Ausbildung kann jedoch auch über eine Berufsverbandsanerkennung verfügen, etwa des EMR oder ASCA, welche es Ihren Patienten ermöglichen, Ihre Leistungen über die Zusatzversicherungen der Krankenkassen abzurechen. Auch eine kantonale Praxisbewilligung können Sie mit einer Ausbildung in der Beratung erhalten. Klären Sie die Anerkennungen der einzelnen Beraterausbildungen bitte immer bereits im Vorfeld ab und überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass Sie sich für eine professionell durchgeführte und seriöse Weiterbildung entscheiden.

Die Zielgruppen der einzelnen Ausbildungen und Weiterbildungen aus dem Bereich der Beratung sind sehr unterschiedlich, je nach Schwerpunkt und Abschluss. So finden Sie neben einer Berater Ausbildung für Interessenten ohne spezifische berufliche Erfahrung auch Angebote, die sich hauptsächlich an Psychologen und Psychologinnen, sowie Ärzte und Ärztinnen richten, welche sich etwa in der Psychotherapie vertiefend ausbilden lassen möchten. Eine Ausbildung in existenzanalytischer Beratung ist für Lehrpersonen und SeelsorgerInnen sehr gut geeignet, eine Weiterbildung in Personenzentrierter Beratung für alle Fachkräfte aus der Beratung, der Bildung, dem Sozialen, dem Gesundheits- oder Personalwesen, die sich mit psychosozialer Beratung befassen und ihre Kenntnisse erweitern wollen. Da es sich bei den meisten Bildungsangeboten jedoch nicht um eidgenössisch anerkannte Abschlüsse handelt, etwa eine Berufsprüfung (BP) oder ein Diplom einer Höheren Fachschule (HF), sind die Lehrgänge und Kurse je nach Schule sehr unterschiedlich aufgebaut und verleihen verschiedene Abschlüsse, wie etwa zum/zur dipl. After the counselor training in the psychosocial field, there are the following further development opportunities as a counselor training:

At the start of the examination, the following prior training is required for the Counselor in the Psychosocial Field course:

• Professional qualification at tertiary level or equivalent qualification and at least 6 years of professional experience in a psychosocial context

or

• without a tertiary degree at least 8 years of professional experience in a psychosocial context

and

• Proof of at least 20 counseling processes with at least 100 sessions, of which 5 counseling processes with at least 5 hours
• Proof of 40 hours of client-related supervision
• Proof of 40 hours of psychosocial counseling as a client
• Participation in at least 8 sessions of a supervision or revision group for at least 2 years
• Accompaniment by a supervisor for at least 1 year (min. 20 hours) in a counseling competence-related supervision

You can become a counsellor by completing a counsellor training course, which should be recognized and certified by the Swiss Association for Counselling (SGfB). This is because they train psychologically oriented counsellors from the fields of individual, couple and family counselling as well as from the field of counselling for groups, institutions and organizations. With the Psychosocial Counselor training, you will be able to counsel people with the aim of managing their lives independently, overcoming crises and developing themselves further. Those who successfully complete the higher professional examination become experts in the professional world and can use the protected title "Counselor in the psychosocial field with a federal diploma".
