If you are aiming for a Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Real Estate Appraisal, you can continue your education within 1 to 1.5 years - depending on the school and your weekly workload.
In the case of a certificate course leading to a "school certificate / diploma (cert.)", you will need to allow considerably less time, for example you may have to attend classes two evenings a week for around 3 months.
A certificate course in the form of a CAS at a University of Applied Sciences or University has a duration of 1 - 2 semesters. This can also be completed on a part-time basis.
