Wie Unterscheiden sich die Bereiche Coaching, Supervision und Organisationsberatung?

How do the areas of coaching, supervision and organizational consulting differ?

Basically, it can be said that all three consulting formats - organizational consulting, supervision and coaching - have a different tradition and cover different areas. For example, coaching was originally used in sport with the aim of improving athletes' performance, removing blockages and taking the pressure off them before a competition. Various methods were used for this purpose, many relaxation techniques, but also visualization techniques, techniques for self-motivation, focus and mobilization. The aim of coaching is therefore still to increase performance while taking life circumstances into account.
Supervision, on the other hand, originates from the field of social work and still aims to improve team and work processes. This form of counseling is not necessarily aimed at improving performance, but offers support in change and development processes for individuals, teams or groups.
Organizational consulting is based on a systems theory approach with the aim of advising and optimizing an entire organization. The aim is to initiate stabilization measures within the organization, drive change and promote sustainable development that contributes to the achievement of defined goals. Organizational development is therefore a decisive factor within this discipline.
