What prior training is required for Advanced Professional Examination (AFPE) in Design and Painting Therapy?
The necessary previous training for an Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) in Art Therapy is required at the start of the examination:
- Degree at tertiary level in one of the fields of healthcare, education, art or social work or degree at upper-secondary level (e.g. vocational education and training or vocational, technical or Baccalaureate) and passing the equivalence test for the requirements for a therapeutic profession GVB
- 2 years of professional experience with a workload of at least 50% in the fields of healthcare, education, art or social services
- Required module qualifications or certificates of equivalence
- Proof of at least 20 hours of case supervision with supervisors recognized by OdA ARTECURA
