Welche Zulassungsbedingungen gelten für eine Diplom-Ausbildung in Bewegungspädagogik?

What are the admission requirements for a diploma course in movement education?

In the case of certificate courses, the respective school decides on admission to training as a movement educator. It determines the admission requirements that interested parties must fulfill in order to be accepted into the school. For this reason, there are no uniform admission requirements for training in movement education with a certificate. Some schools admit 17-year-olds, others require a minimum age of 20. There are usually no upper age restrictions. In addition, a completed vocational apprenticeship or high school diploma is often required. However, final admission is usually decided by an aptitude test, which checks your talent for music, rhythm and movement as well as your motivation and commitment. We recommend that prospective students contact the schools of their choice directly.

A 4-year pilot course at a higher technical college in movement pedagogy with a federal diploma started in 2000. From autumn 2025, SERI is expected to definitively approve this HF course for implementation and recognize the professional title. The admission requirements for this federally recognized course are much stricter (aptitude test, letter of motivation, proof of competence, medical certificate, CV, ideally a basic education in the field of movement, dance or sport).
