What continuing education, further training in gastronomy makes sense after a Matura?

After completing a vocational education and training or school-based basic education with a school-leaving certificate, there are various options open to you for further education, training or continuing education, further training in the catering industry. With a vocational baccalaureate and an apprenticeship in the catering or hotel industry, for example, you can study at a University of Applied Sciences, as well as at a College of Higher Education (CHE). After a few years of professional experience, a Federal Diploma of Higher Education (FPE) in the respective field is also possible, for example as a management specialist with a Federal Diploma of Higher Education. If you have a high school diploma, you may also be eligible for a Bachelor's degree course, for example in tourism and mobility or hospitality.
