What are the requirements for taking the Federal Professional Examination in Exercise and Health Promotion?
The following requirements must be met in order to take the Federal Professional Examination in Exercise and Health Promotion:
- Completion of vocational education and training (VET) as a specialist in physical activity and health promotion and work experience: at least 3,500 hours of study in at least 2 to max. 5 years in the fitness and health training specialization; 500 lessons under supervision are required in the physical activity and movement education specialization.
or
- Completion of another vocational education and training (Federal VET Diploma) or Baccalaureate and professional experience: at least 5000 hours in at least 2.5 to max. 5 years in the specialty of fitness and health training; 750 hours of supervised teaching units are required in the specialty of body and movement training.

- Module completions or certificates of equivalence
- BLS (CPR) card valid at the time of the test
