What points should be considered in a training concept for a company-specific seminar?
As soon as you have decided to have your employees or some of them trained in a seminar on a specific topic and you have found a suitable training provider, it is important that you give comprehensive thought to a number of points. These include, for example, the objectives that are to be achieved by attending an in-house training course. Think about which skills your employees should have acquired afterwards or in which areas they should have gained more knowledge. Should certain behaviors be changed or refined? Improve very specific characteristics or learn new methods or techniques? Is it a question of product training or does a new activity need to be learned?
After defining the objectives, you also clarify questions about the time frame, the right time, the group of participants, the budget, the seminar location and the performance reviews and any follow-up training.
