What is stress coaching?

In stress coaching, the client and coach work together to develop strategies on how the client can better manage their stress. The aim is to protect against stress-related illnesses such as burnout. Good stress coaching encompasses all four stress management strategies:

  • Reduction (combat acute stress situations)
  • Prevention (prevent stress)
  • Resistance (training your own resilience)
  • Resilience (surviving times of high and prolonged stress)
