What is the job description of an HR assistant?

An HR assistant (personnel assistant) is independently responsible for personnel administration in SMEs or public companies. In larger companies, they take on the role of assistant. The personnel assistant provides effective support to managers. They are responsible for drafting job advertisements and publishing them, compiling and sending company information and application documents, reviewing application dossiers and making an initial decision on an invitation, a second choice or an announcement. An assistant in Human Resources is also responsible for clarifying salaries and social benefits, drawing up employment contracts in accordance with instructions and arranging exit interviews, preparing references and leaving formalities. She is the contact person for employees with questions about salary, sickness, working hours and problems at the workplace, promotions, transfers, allowances, accidents and days off.
