The courses with the designation FPE, AFPE and CHE are continuing education, further training courses with different qualifications. FPE stands for Federal Professional Examination (FPE), where you will receive a federal certificate if you pass, which can be built upon by taking the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), which leads to a federal diploma. After an apprenticeship, however, you can also decide to attend a College of Higher Education (CHE), which also awards federally recognized diplomas.
