The right time for a follow-up campaign is not always easy to determine and also depends on the product or service you are offering. You should bear in mind that high-priced products and services generally require a slightly longer period of reflection than lower-priced ones and factor this into your planning. It is advisable to follow up by telephone after three days at the earliest for cheaper products/services and after five days at the earliest for expensive ones. However, the inquiry should be made no later than 14 days after the documents or quotations have been sent.
