Does my boss have to co-finance my continuing education, further training?
Continuing education, further training in foreign trade is usually financially supported or even fully covered by the company in which you work if the initiative for this comes from the company itself and brings added value. If your manager wants you to undertake continuing education, further training to enable you to take on new tasks or take up a higher position, the company will usually pay for the training. However, if you want to start a course yourself and are looking for the right school and the right course, you should bear in mind that your supervisor is not obliged to finance or contribute to your continuing education, further training. It is up to you to carry out this educational measure in your own time and to finance it yourself, unless you can convince your company of the importance of this continuing education, further training for your current or future position in the company. If your supervisor is willing to pay for some or all of the continuing education, further training, this will probably not be without conditions.
