Muss ich für eine Weiterbildung spezielle Anforderungen erfüllen?

Do I have to meet any special requirements for continuing education, further training?

There are several further training options to choose from in the field of foreign trade, which can vary greatly in terms of their requirements. Certificate courses often admit all those who have some experience in export, import or logistics, who would like to deepen or refresh their knowledge or gain an insight into this professional field. However, some courses require participants to already have sound prior knowledge, so please always check the relevant requirements of each individual school. This also applies to all federal qualifications, although the admission requirements do not vary from school to school, but only within the courses. As a general rule, however, it can be said that people interested in a Federal Professional Examination must have completed vocational education and training (VET), a commercial secondary school or a school-leaving certificate as well as at least 2 years of professional experience (more professional experience for other qualifications) in the relevant field.

You can take the Advanced Federal Professional Examination in Foreign Trade Management if you have at least two years of professional experience in foreign trade and a professional certificate (at least 3 years of professional experience with a degree from a University of Applied Sciences, University, Advanced Professional Examination, Advanced Professional Examination or 6 years with basic training, commercial diploma or Matura certificate). Separate admission requirements apply for other Advanced Federal Professional Examinations (AFPE).
