Do I have to have a good command of a second language to attend an interpreting school?
An interpreting school is not suitable for learning a foreign language, but aims to teach you the craft of interpreting or translating. Very good foreign language skills are therefore a prerequisite for admission to an interpreting school. If your language skills are not sufficient, we recommend that you attend an intensive language course at a language school beforehand.
