If you have a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate with an apprenticeship in a "relevant profession", it is possible that you will be admitted to the Bachelor's degree course in Civil Engineering without any additional work experience. Depending on your previous education, this additional work experience may consist of 6 to 12 months of work experience before starting the course. The following Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training are considered "relevant professions" for the Civil Engineering degree program:

Joiner, carpenter, track layer, draughtsman, tinsmith, gardener, landscape gardener, metal construction designer, road builder, sanitary fitter, foundation engineer, structural draughtsman, metal worker, steel and metal construction fitter, steel construction draughtsman, geomatician, bricklayer, metal construction draughtsman, building services / sanitary planner
