Can I become a structural and civil engineering technician or only either or?
Further training at a higher technical college to become a certified technician HF in construction management can probably still be chosen until 2025 with a specialization in structural engineering or civil engineering, but not with a combination of these. As a rule, you opt for civil engineering or structural engineering for all training courses, but not necessarily for all of them, such as foreman training, apprenticeships such as bricklaying and draughtsman or others.
Note: Since fall 2022, the HF technician courses (formerly "HF technician specialization") have received a separate framework curriculum and a new title for each specialization. The title of the "HF Construction Management Technician" course has not been changed. However, the specializations "Structural Engineering", "Civil Engineering" and "Road Construction" will probably be discontinued by 2025.
