A Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training as a packaging technologist, printing technologist, flexographic printer or another profession in visual communication allows you to take the Federal Professional Examination (FPE) to become a printing and packaging technology specialist with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training after just two years of professional experience in printing. However, you can also be admitted to the FPE with a Baccalaureate or basic training in another industry, provided you have at least four years of professional experience in printing. A preparatory course for the Federal Professional Examination will be credited proportionately to your practical experience.
