An wen richtet sich eine Ausbildung in der Ayurveda-Therapie?

Who is training in Ayurveda therapy aimed at?

There are a number of very different training courses and degree programs in the field of Ayurveda therapy, which often focus on different aspects of Ayurveda therapy and are therefore aimed at different groups of people. The Ayurveda Medicine Master's degree course is primarily open to alternative practitioners, but other people who have a sound basic medical education and professional experience are also always admitted after a detailed interview. This group of people includes, for example, physiotherapists, nurses and pharmacists. The group of people who are eligible for training in Ayurvedic complementary therapy is somewhat broader and does not necessarily require in-depth medical knowledge. Such comprehensive training in Ayurveda therapy is aimed at people who wish to study Ayurveda intensively and in depth (more than 500 teaching hours), have a school-leaving certificate or have already completed an apprenticeship in the educational, medical or social field, can demonstrate professional experience even after the apprenticeship and are older than 22 years. The course is suitable, for example, for complementary therapists who wish to expand their range of services, for physiotherapists or nurses or for people who wish to expand their Ayurveda training, e.g. in Ayurveda massage (AMA). The Ayurveda Cosmetics and Beauty course is aimed less at medical practitioners and more at wellness trainers, beauticians, wellness therapists and masseurs. It is best to ask the individual schools directly to send you the relevant training documents, which explicitly state the admission requirements and the desired target group.
