Furthermore, social pedagogues are usually integrated into a team, and team leadership is also an important topic in training.
Training as a social pedagogue (HF) leads to a federally recognized qualification. Your chances on the job market are therefore very good. In addition to the specialist knowledge imparted, you will also learn a great deal of valuable personal and social skills during the course - you will learn a lot about empathy and patience and will then have the ability to reflect on yourself. These are all qualities that you can also use for yourself in various situations in life.
After successfully completing the course, you will have access to interesting further training opportunities such as the higher professional examination as a qualified institution manager in the social and socio-medical field or supervisor/coach with a federal diploma. With the relevant work experience, for example in the social sector, it is also possible to continue your studies at a university of applied sciences (Bachelor of Science (FH) in Social Work (with a focus on social pedagogy or social work).
