My name is Martina Holinger and I am 31 years old. I live in Muhen - very close to Aarau. In my free time I play soccer and have two dogs. I originally trained as a retail assistant at Do it Garden (Migros). A little later I did a commercial apprenticeship. After further training in finance and accounting, I am now an auditor with BDO in Aarau. I am also a licensed auditor.
At the commercial college KV Aarau, I completed the KV according to Article 32 E-Profile. I later completed further training to become an accounting clerk. Today, I am still studying for a specialist certificate in finance and accounting.
I decided to do my further training in finance and accounting because I simply enjoy numbers. I had already discovered this in the retail sector. The accounting clerk course enabled me to enter the world of finance and accounting. I got a job in finance immediately after enrolling on the course.
I completed the accounting clerk course at HKV Aarau because it has a good reputation and is also very close to me.
Further training as an accounting clerk enabled me to switch from a normal office job to auditing. I feel comfortable in this area, where everything revolves around numbers.
What I particularly liked about the accounting clerk course was the introduction to financial accounting. This area was dealt with in great depth and inventory management in particular was very interesting for me. I was able to acquire the necessary basic knowledge for my new job in accounting.
What I liked best about the accounting clerk course was when we were able to combine our theoretical knowledge with practical tasks and solve them.
I would recommend the Accounting Clerk course to anyone who enjoys numbers and would like to work in accounting. Anyone who is unsure whether numbers are really their passion should perhaps reconsider. The course is very demanding and requires a corresponding bite and interest in accounting.
The atmosphere in our class during the accounting clerk training was very good. We were able to exchange ideas well. We usually found solutions to problems among ourselves. We were also able to approach lecturers at any time.
What I liked best about the KV Aarau business school was how quickly problems were solved. There were always contact persons we could approach.
This training has given me a lot of self-confidence. I am now much more self-confident when dealing with customers. Further training as an accounting clerk enabled me to switch to training as a finance and accounting specialist after a year. This enables me to obtain a specialist certificate in this field.
