How do I become a payroll manager and payroll expert? What educational paths and qualifications are there in payroll accounting?

There is no federally recognized further training in the area of payroll accounting/payroll management. Some schools award their own diplomas. Others teach according to the Edupool concept and their courses conclude with an Edupool certificate.

The Edupool training course in payroll management has a two-stage structure and leads to the Payroll Manager (level 1) and Payroll Expert (level 2) certificates. The courses are run by accredited commercial training centers according to a standardized curriculum. The certificates are co-signed by the Commercial Association. They are recognized throughout Switzerland as proof of qualification in the business world.
