Leadership training: What are the main disadvantages?

After the leadership training course, you can take on a position as a team leader or group leader. With self-management, team planning and organization, situation-appropriate communication and professional conflict management, you will ensure an efficient and effective team.

The main disadvantages of leadership training are:

  1. The certificate awarded after the leadership training course is not a federal certificate. However, it is a partial qualification for the Federal Certificate of Management Specialist and therefore has regulated learning content and national recognition. The qualification also provides a good basis for entry into a management position.
  2. The further training is only subsidized by the federal government if the second module Management incl. certificate is completed and the examination for the federal certificate is passed.
  3. The time required for preparation and follow-up work, self-study and examinations must be planned for in the private and professional environment.
  4. Even after completing leadership training, the learning does not stop: If you want to take on a qualified management role, you should complete the professional examination for management specialists.

Graduates are employed as managers, primarily in lower and middle management positions in companies of various sizes in different professional fields.
