Persons are admitted to the course for guest managers with a federal certificate:

  • with completed vocational training (EFZ), high school diploma or equivalent qualification at secondary level 2
  • have one year of professional experience at the start of the course
  • For admission to the examination, they require two years of professional experience, of which at least one year must be in direct contact with guests or customers (reception, customer service, management and support or organization of events)
  • Good written and spoken German (level C1)
  • Knowledge of at least one foreign language (level B1)

In addition, a willingness to actively participate in lessons and to deepen the course content through self-study is required. A high level of service orientation and good self-organization are important basic requirements for a job in the leisure & tourism industry.

This means easier handling for the students concerned, as the support is pre-financed and also covers the examination fees. The course starts in November.
