How are management training courses in the social and healthcare sector structured? What is the course content?

The management training courses in the healthcare and social sector have a modular structure. There are 10 training or competence modules that enable qualifications at three levels:

  • Entry at team management level (modules 1-5)
  • Further at divisional management level (modules 6-8)
  • and finally at the level of the management of an entire institution (modules 9-10)

Module completions: Proof of competence

Proof of competence must be provided for each module. The type of proof of competence varies and - depending on the module - takes the form of short presentations, documentation, learning diaries with reflections, written examinations (1-3 hours), analyses including project presentations and expert interviews.
