How well known and what is the image of the "Business Economist for SMEs" course among potential employers?

For around 50 years, there have been entrepreneurial schools in which both prospective and experienced managing directors and company managers receive business management training. These further training courses are consistently geared towards the needs of small and medium-sized commercial and craft enterprises.

The names of the courses and qualifications have changed over time. For example, the current designation "Business Economist for SMEs" is not yet as well known everywhere as the previous name "Business Economist for Trade and Industry". However, both the course and the qualification are supported by a broad alliance of important Swiss industry associations, as a result of which they enjoy a good reputation.
