The Bern and Biel School of Design is the competence center for design professions in the Espace Mittelland and an institution of the Canton of Bern. It offers well-founded design training at the interface of craft, technology and art - with a direct link to practice.

Around 3,000 people attend the school every year. In addition to vocational education and training with a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (VET), students also attend the College of Higher Education. Teachers and specialists from various disciplines impart knowledge and support learners and students in their professional development.
