What are the requirements for training as a wound expert?
The following specialists are authorized to train as wound experts:
- Qualified nurses at continuing education and training / tertiary level (CHE, DN II, UAS, AKP, PsyKP, KWS)
- Certified podiatrists CHE
- Specialists in long-term nursing and care and in psychiatric nursing and care with Federal Diploma of Higher Education
- Medical practice coordinators in the clinical field with Federal Diploma of Higher Education
Further criteria:
- Min. 2 years experience in wound treatment
- Min. 40% employment in wound treatment
- Good knowledge of German
A "Sur-Dossier" admission is possible. The schools will answer any questions directly.
