What requirements do I need to have for AFPE continuing education, further training as a graphic designer?

For continuing education, further training as a graphic designer or graphic designer with a federal diploma via the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE), the following points must be fulfilled by the start of the examination:

  • Apprenticeship with Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training as a Graphic Designer Federal VET Diploma

or

  • Federal Diploma of Higher Education in a related profession (e.g. techno-polygraphist)

or

  • Completion of a College of Higher Education (e.g. designer CHE communication design)

and

  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of visual design
