What should I look out for when choosing a language school?
If you want to learn a language, you can do so at home or abroad. However, the principle of comprehensive information gathering at the beginning of the search applies to all course models and countries. It is extremely important that you find a language course and a provider that meets your needs and offers you the environment you need for optimal learning. Therefore, always ask a number of Spanish schools to send you documents and offers so that you have sufficient material for comparison.
Find out what experience the school has and what qualifications in training and continuing education, further training the individual teachers have. Do they have experience in teaching foreign languages? What infrastructure does the school have? How are the rooms and the school complex equipped? How do you reach the school and are there sufficient parking facilities or public transport connections? Also ask about the teaching materials and the costs included in the course, especially for language trips.
Class size is also an important selection criterion for Spanish schools, as are the number of lessons and the duration of lessons.
