Worauf sollte ich bei der Sprachschulwahl für Arabisch achten?
What should I look out for when choosing an Arabic language school?
Language schools that offer Arabic courses should always employ teachers who are native speakers of Arabic. Fousha or Fous-ha is High Arabic, which is also the language of the Koran and the media and is offered by most schools here. Aameya is a very common dialect that is considered an everyday language, especially in Egypt, but is not offered everywhere here. If possible, teachers should be able to speak both Standard Arabic and Aameya and have qualified training and continuing, further education.
There are a number of important criteria when choosing a suitable language school, especially one abroad that you can't just visit for a short break. Location and accommodation are important, as are transport links, teaching materials, support and leisure activities. In the guide "How to choose the right education provider" ((see navigation point "Education help" above)) you will find an informative and detailed description of the most important selection criteria that will help you find the right language for an Arabic course.
