Worauf sollte ich bei der Auswahl für den richtigen Kurs achten?

What should I look out for when choosing the right course?

If you are interested in an Italian language course, you will quickly realize that the choice of courses within the individual language schools is often quite large. There are standard courses and intensive courses, diploma courses, conversation courses and private courses, online courses, combination courses consisting of individual training and group courses, mini-groups or semi-intensive individual lessons. It's not easy to keep an overview and find the right Italian school.

First of all, think about what your goal is with a language course and how you can best achieve it. If you want to obtain a recognized language diploma, then a diploma course is the best option for you, but if you want to learn Italian as quickly as possible, you can choose between private lessons, intensive courses at language schools, intensive courses at online language schools or language trips to Italy. If it is important to you to be flexible in terms of time, one-to-one lessons and lessons at online schools may make sense for you. For those who want to learn in peace and quiet but still don't want to completely do without the presence of other language students, semi-private courses, which consist of individual and group lessons, could be ideal, as could courses in mini-groups.

Then think about how much time you have available for learning (classroom teaching + self-study) and which type of course comes closest to this information. Always pay attention to the number of course participants and therefore the size of the group. How many people are too many for you or would you prefer individual lessons? The course times at an Italian school also play a role, as do the admission requirements, teaching materials, number and duration of lessons and course content.
