Where can you find a job after completing social pedagogy training?
With a socio-educational qualification, you can find employment anywhere where you can offer people of different ages support in their development, in coping with everyday life and in learning processes. This is the case, for example, in children's and youth homes, day care centers, street work, residential groups for mentally, physically or psychologically impaired people, leisure and youth facilities, correctional and penal institutions or in (extra)family educational support, for example as part of socio-pedagogical family support. With training in social work, you can work for the child and adult protection authority (KESB), in school social work, social services in clinics and hospitals, in addiction support, rehabilitation, or in counseling centers for families, adults, children and adolescents, as well as in municipal or state social welfare.
