Graduates of a Bachelor's degree program in Medical Technology are employed in hospitals as well as in medical technology companies. Around 54,500 people were employed in the medical technology industry in 2015, in one of around 1,350 companies, which include manufacturers, distributors, service providers and suppliers. The prospects for prospective medical technicians in Switzerland are therefore good and, due to the ageing population, will certainly offer considerable potential in the coming decades.
