Product designers work in design offices, in the design departments of industrial or craft businesses, in institutions or as freelancers in their own studios. Environmentally friendly, energy-saving and circular products are becoming increasingly important. In order to survive in a highly competitive and constantly changing environment, professionals must keep up to date even after their product design training, e.g. through continuing education, further training or attending trade fairs and exhibitions.
