If you want to work as an interior designer, you can do so in larger furniture and furnishing stores that want to offer their customers the special service of an interior designer or in interior decoration companies. They are also sometimes employed in planning offices, by large construction companies or architecture firms, work as specialist journalists for interior design magazines, for example, or work freelance.
