Where do community animators work in the field of community development?
Community animators CHE work wherever people come together and shape cultural and social life in public spaces. This can be in supervised playgrounds or in street work, in extracurricular educational work, in senior centers or asylum programs, in prevention, in youth clubs, in cultural centers or in unemployment programs, in youth and children's work or at neighborhood meetings. They can be found wherever people are committed to community development and social cohesion. They advise and accompany, support and negotiate, promote dialog and mutual understanding.
