Is training in iris diagnosis recognized as a method by health insurance companies?
In principle, training in iridology, i.e. eye diagnostics or iris diagnostics, can be recognized by health insurance companies. This is the case with many health insurance companies if the therapists fulfill prescribed criteria. The prerequisite is often an EMR registration, which is awarded by the ErfahrungsMedizinisches Register. This requires that you fulfill a number of important requirements, which vary depending on the certificate. For example, you need a minimum number of 150 hours of learning for the EMR certificate, at least 600 hours of learning for the SM certificate, specified learning content and other requirement criteria set by the EMR (seehere). However, registration with the EMR in iris diagnosis is only possible in combination with Method 131, Naturopathic Practices NHP (naturopath/naturopath).
