How do I become a spatial planner?
If you want to work as a spatial planner, a bachelor's degree in spatial planning followed by a master's degree is highly recommended. Although there are also numerous CAS postgraduate courses, these do not provide the same level of knowledge that is required for professional and successful work in this field and serve more as continuing education, further training than as basic training. However, an MAS, a Master of Advanced Studies, can be a sensible alternative to a Bachelor's degree, provided that you already have a university degree in a related field, such as economics, engineering, architecture or geography.
