How do I become a housekeeper?
You can become a housekeeper by completing an apprenticeship as a housekeeping specialist (Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training) or by completing an apprenticeship with the Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (Federal VET Diploma) to become a housekeeping practitioner (Federal VET Certificate). If you have the opportunity to complete your apprenticeship with a Federal Vocational Baccalaureate, be sure to take advantage of this, as you will then have the opportunity to enrol in continuing education, further training in housekeeping and facility management at Universities of Applied Sciences UAS.
