How much time do I need to allow for the technician training in construction management?
The further training course to become a technician HF in construction management (until 2025 probably with a specialization in structural engineering or civil engineering) lasts seven semesters, which you complete while working. Depending on the school, this means that you will attend classes on Saturdays and Friday evenings, for example, as well as around two workshops per semester lasting two to three days each. The course days may vary, so please contact the relevant schools directly using our contact form.
Note: Since fall 2022, the HF technician courses (formerly "HF technician specialization") have received a separate framework curriculum and a new title for each specialization. The title of the "HF Construction Management Technician" course has not been changed. However, the specializations "Structural Engineering", "Civil Engineering" and "Road Construction" will probably be discontinued by 2025.
