Wie unterscheiden sich die einzelnen Leistungs- oder Niveaustufen?

How do the individual performance or level levels differ?

All Arabic courses are divided into levels. This means that, as a beginner, you will always attend your Arabic course exclusively with other beginners. The same naturally applies to advanced learners. In a placement test at the beginning of your language study trip, you will be assigned to the appropriate level group. At language schools here in Switzerland, you are usually either responsible for assigning yourself to the correct level, or the language school will offer you a placement test. This is particularly useful if you already have some knowledge of Arabic and are not sure what level your language skills are at. The beginners' course at level A1 is always suitable for beginners. The levels are the same in all schools in Switzerland, so you can attend a beginner's Arabic course at one school and continue with an advanced course at another school if required. The language level classifications are as follows:
  • A1 - Starter (beginners)
  • A2 - Elementary (basic knowledge)
  • B1 - Pre-Intermediate (advanced beginners)
  • B2 - Intermediate (advanced beginners)
  • C1 - Advanced (advanced)
  • C2 - Professional (Experts)
